FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE - CHARITY CARE – COLLECTIONS
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE:
As a courtesy, the Surgery Center will verify a patient’s insurance benefits prior to surgery. It is the patient’s responsibility to pay any co-insurance at the time of service (i.e. deductibles, coinsurance percentage & co-pays). The Surgery Center will file the insurance claim following surgery for the facility fee excluding surgeon fee, anesthesiologist, and pathology or lab charges. Any patient portion due after the insurance has paid needs to be paid within 30 days unless financial arrangements have been made.
Patients without insurance coverage are expected to pay for services rendered the day of surgery. If payment in full is not possible, financial arrangements will be made prior to surgery. Patients are encouraged to contact the Surgery Center to make arrangements.
